Raising Digital Engagement at KS3

Working with schools across the Heart of the Southwest to digitally engage KS3 pupils by enhancing curriculum learning and inspiring pupils to consider the benefits of a digital career

Welcome to Raising Digital Engagement at KS3

Raising Digital Engagement at KS3 is one of three programmes being delivered through the Heart of Southwest  Digital Skills Series. All programmes are managed and delivered by Devon County Council.

This programme is working with schools across Devon, Plymouth, Somerset and Torbay. Please note the programme is not open to schools located in the constituent areas of Bath and North East Somerset.

Raising Digital Engagement at KS3……What’s it all about? Digital careers offer a range of exciting opportunities to young people. It is important that we encourage pupils to consider and understand the importance of digital skills to transfer into their career. Working with schools across the Heart of the South West we aim to help enrich and enhance the computing curriculum by offering access to a breadth of free activities and resources. Schools that engage with the programme will be recognised for their dedication to raising digital aspirations within their school through our bespoke digital badge scheme.
