An inspiring introduction to the jobs of the future for students at secondary schools and further education colleges. An opportunity to explore immersive technologies and gain valuable insight into the pathways and progression in the immersive sector.
Hosted by Real Immersive at the Market Hall as part of eXtRordinary festival (https://real-immersive.realideas.org/extraordinary-festival/), students will have the opportunity to find out more about 360 film, VR and AR technology, spatial sound and projection mapping as well as experience an immersive screening in the Market Hall’s state-of-the-art digital immersive dome. They’ll also meet industry professionals and get the chance ask questions, explore innovation and start the journey to their immersive future.
Timings
Morning – 10.00am-1.00pm
Focussed on Year 7 and Year 8 students at the pre-option stage to stimulate thinking about future careers and aspirations in this sector.
Offer
Morning Session: We are limiting this offer to 15 students per secondary school (a minibus full!) and we have 4 slots available at each of the times below:
10.00-11.30, 11.00-12.30, 12.00-1.30
Afternoon Session: This is an open session for post-16 students but we do need to know numbers intending to attend from each establishment.
