The Heart of the South West Skills Launchpad supports adults in the Heart of the South West to find information about education and employment.

Adult Learning

Adult Learning can help you regain or learn essential skills such as math, English and digital to help you get work, upskill, retrain or help your children with homework.

They also offer a wide range of courses where you can meet other people interested in subjects such as languages, art, craft and more.

Adult Education providers also provide courses for Adults with Learning Disabilities and Difficulties, which can include courses on life skills to help them live independently.

Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are available to anyone aged 16 please and you can gain a wide range of qualifications.

Apprenticeships come at a range of levels and can help you to earn while you learn, progress in your current career, or get a new one.

Digital and Technical Bootcamps

Free, high quality, digital and technical training designed by industry to meet their open and live vacancies. The programme includes ten different digital and technical bootcamps that have been designed to help local people advance or pivot their skills into industries that are set to grow or are resilient to the current economic downturn.
